I have always been an artist, exploring different mediums but my first love is color. No matter the medium, I love to make colors dance using the magic of the color wheel to combine unusual hues and values.
The process of creating and weaving together fibers gives me infinite range to explore color in unique ways.
I would say that I am a fearless color explorer who enjoys allowing each color to express a feeling—could be joy, excitement, or a quiet Zen expression of the human experience.
I recently rediscovered the pottery wheel and find new opportunities of experiment with color. Mixing unusual glaze combinations can yield some amazing and unexpected results!
It is my hope that my work is esthetically pleasing and brings joy to the person who experiences the form, function and feeling of my pieces.
