The lovely Cumberland Valley in central Pennsylvania is where I call home. Having painted for most of my life, I enjoy the lighter forms of realism, and enjoy reflecting the world around us in ways that bring joy and peace to my viewers. I do think that there is a divine spark in all that humans offer to each other, so I try to listen to "the muse" as often as possible, in order to pass my particular gifts on to others.

Always working on my craft allows me to refine my technique so that my message is accessible to my viewer. I draw and paint often, take workshops when available, read my many books, and more recently, watch YouTube videos on an amazing number of art topics!

While I work in a variety of media, including oil, watercolor and acrylic, I think that drawing is critical to refining one's technique, so I try to do that often.
