Deborah Slocum ~ The Painter’s Perch
Most artists or instructors of art will tell you, “Try to specialize in one area and get really good at it.” I’ve always had a hard time with staying in one box because there’s just so many mediums, techniques, and styles of art to try… and at this point I’ve dabbled in most of them. I don’t see that as a negative though, every avenue I’ve explored has carried over to the other areas and, I think, has make me a more well-rounded and diverse artist. Never be afraid to explore! ~ Deb Slocum
